You control one of two warrior magicians, moving screen by screen through a fantasy China. Your main goal is to defeat the evil god that has invaded the land. You use a short-range sword attack and can collect magical orbs to unleash screen-clearing spells, which is helpful because enemies constantly respawn. The pacing is methodical; you often have to carefully dispatch foes before advancing. The difficulty is quite high, with precise jumps and aggressive enemies making progress a real challenge. It feels like a constant test of your patience and reflexes.
