You play as Master Chu, whose village got wrecked by some cursed spirits—so naturally, he teams up with a drunken martial artist (Hu) to fight through temples and palaces. The twist? You’ve gotta hunt down eight hidden symbols on each level before the boss even shows up, which means a lot of backtracking and frantic jumping over bottomless pits.

Controls are stiff in that classic NES way, and the enemies hit hard, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about the rhythm once you get used to it.
