Magnetic Soccer is one of those weird little Game Boy sports games that somehow works way better than it should. You've got these tiny players sliding around like they're on ice, but with this odd magnetic pull that makes passes snap to teammates. At first it feels janky, but after a few matches you start pulling off these ridiculous curved shots that bend around defenders.

The controls are simple - just pass and shoot - but the physics keep things unpredictable. I lost my first match 8-0 before figuring out how to actually aim. The chiptune crowd noises and those blocky little goal celebrations give it this oddly charming vibe. Not exactly FIFA, but way more fun than it has any right to be.

If you're into obscure retro sports games, this one's a surprisingly good time.
