M82 Game Selectable Working Product Display (europe) Game

Ever seen one of those old demo kiosks in a '90s electronics store? That's basically what this is—a weird little slice of NES history. The M82 wasn't a game itself, but a cartridge packed with playable demos of stuff like Super Mario Bros. and Zelda II that stores would loop to lure kids into begging their parents for a Nintendo.
Boot it up now and you get this janky menu where you can hop between truncated versions of classics. Mario cuts off after world 1-2, Zelda II drops you in the middle of Death Mountain with no context—it's like gaming déjà vu. Kinda fascinating if you're into retro oddities, but don't expect a proper playthrough of anything.
Funny how this thing feels more like a museum exhibit than something you'd actually "play."
