Lunar Pool is like someone took regular pool, threw it into space, and said "let's make this weird." The physics feel familiar—you still line up shots, judge angles, and curse when you barely miss—but the tables are anything but normal. You start with a basic rectangle, sure, but soon you're bouncing balls off floating islands, dodging black holes, or trying to bank shots around a giant spiral.

At first, I thought it was just a gimmick, but the layouts actually force you to think differently. Some tables are so cramped you’re basically playing pinball, while others are so wide open that a soft tap sends your ball drifting forever. And yeah, the NES controls take some getting used to—power feels a little unpredictable—but once it clicks, you’ll be obsessed with clearing those impossible tables. It’s pool, but not as you know it.
