Lucky Monkey Game

Lucky Monkey is one of those Game Boy platformers that just feels right—bright colors, tight controls, and that perfect level of "just one more try" frustration. You play as this little monkey dude who swings between vines, dodges weirdly aggressive fruit (seriously, why are the coconuts out for blood?), and grabs golden bananas like they're going out of style.
The first level tricks you into thinking it's cute and easy, then suddenly you're timing jumps over bottomless pits while some tribal drum track speeds up. The pixel art has that classic early 90s charm—big expressive eyes on the monkey, palm trees that actually look like palm trees despite being 8 pixels tall. Found myself grinning when I discovered you could ricochet off enemies mid-air if you timed it right.
It’s not revolutionary, but it’s the kind of game you dig out of a drawer years later and still remember exactly how to beat the lava level. That monkey’s got moves.
