Lost World: Jurassic Park on Game Boy is one of those weird little licensed games that somehow works. The sprites are tiny but surprisingly detailed, and the jungle music has this eerie vibe that actually makes you feel like something’s stalking you.

At first, I thought it’d be another clunky movie tie-in, but the controls are decent for a Game Boy action game. You’ve got limited ammo, so every shot counts when a raptor lunges at you. And those T-Rex encounters? Way more tense than they have any right to be on this little screen. Just watch out for the compys—they’re small, but they swarm fast.
