So, Lone Ranger on NES—yeah, it's one of those Konami games that somehow makes a licensed property actually fun. You start off riding Silver through the desert, shooting bandits with your six-shooter, and it feels surprisingly smooth for an NES title. The music’s got that classic Western twang, and the sprites are way more detailed than you’d expect.

What’s cool is that it’s not just a straight shooter—you’ve got these weird strategy sections where you pick which towns to help, and if you mess up, the outlaws take over. I remember getting stuck because I kept ignoring one town, and suddenly the stage was swarming with extra enemies. Lesson learned.

Also, Tonto shows up sometimes to toss you health or ammo, which is nice, but good luck spotting him in the chaos. It’s a weird mix of action and light resource management, but it works. Definitely one of the better movie/TV tie-ins from that era.
