Little Nemo - The Dream Master is one of those weird, charming NES platformers that sticks with you. You play as this kid, Nemo, who keeps getting pulled into Slumberland—a trippy dream world where animals let you ride them if you feed them candy (because of course they do).
The first level throws you right into it: hopping on giant frogs, dodging nightmare bugs, and figuring out which sweets tame which creatures. The controls feel a little stiff at first, but once you get used to it, there’s something satisfying about bouncing around on a gorilla or floating with a bee. Also, the music? Weirdly catchy.
It’s got that old-school Capcom vibe—tough but fair, with some genuinely creative level designs. Just don’t expect the story to make much sense. It’s basically a kid’s dream, so logic takes the day off.
