Oh man, Legend of Prince Valiant—this one takes me back. It's a classic Game Boy action-adventure where you play as the prince, swinging your sword through forests, castles, and dungeons. The controls are simple but tight, and the sprite work actually holds up pretty well for an old handheld game.
First few minutes in, you're already jumping over pits and slashing at bats (why do bats always show up in these games?). The levels get trickier fast, with hidden paths and some surprisingly tough enemies. I remember getting stuck on this one knight fight early on—took me a few tries to figure out the timing.
It's got that old-school charm where everything feels a little clunky at first, but once you get into the rhythm, it clicks. The music’s catchy too, in that classic chiptune way. If you're into retro platformers with a bit of swordplay, this one’s a solid pick.
