Okay, so Lawnmower Man on Game Boy is one of those weird licensed games that tries to do a little bit of everything. You start off with this top-down maze section where you're basically just running around avoiding hazards—kinda like a clunky Pac-Man but with worse controls. Then it suddenly shifts to this side-scrolling platformer where you jump over pits and shoot… something? Honestly, it’s not super clear what’s happening half the time.

It’s based on that trippy VR movie from the ‘90s, but the connection feels pretty loose. The graphics are rough even for Game Boy standards, and the gameplay switches so abruptly you’ll either laugh or get frustrated.
