Kyoro Chan Land (japan) Game

Kyoro Chan Land is one of those weird, charming NES platformers that never made it outside Japan. You play as this little bird dude hopping between floating islands, dodging enemies that look like they escaped from a kid’s doodle notebook. The controls are a bit stiff—typical early NES—but there’s something oddly satisfying about the way your character bounces off springs and flutters just enough to avoid pits.
First level throws you right into it: bright colors, weird squawking sound effects, and platforms that disappear if you stand on them too long. Took me a few tries to figure out the timing, but once it clicks, you’ll be hopping between clouds like it’s no big deal. Definitely has that "Saturday morning cartoon" vibe, even if you don’t understand the Japanese text.
Not gonna lie, it’s janky in places, but that’s part of the retro charm. If you’re into obscure platformers, this one’s a neat little time capsule.
