Kung-Fu Master on Game Boy is a weird little sequel—not as flashy as the arcade original, but it’s got its own scrappy charm. You’re still punching and kicking your way through waves of thugs, but the tiny screen makes everything feel way more cramped. At first, I kept getting cornered because the controls take a second to click, but once you get the rhythm down, it’s oddly satisfying to chain together moves.
It’s definitely rough around the edges (those hitboxes, man), but there’s something fun about how straightforward it is. No fancy combos, just you versus a never-ending stream of goons. The Game Boy’s limitations actually work in its favor—it’s pure, stripped-down brawling.
