Krusty’s Fun House on Game Boy is way weirder than you’d expect—in a good way. You’re basically Krusty’s unpaid intern, herding rats through his messed-up funhouse by setting up Rube Goldberg-style traps. Drop a bowling ball here, flip a switch there, and watch the little guys scramble. It’s like Lemmings, but with Simpsons characters heckling you the whole time.
The puzzles start simple, but by level three you’ll be sweating over conveyor belts and teleporters while Bart laughs at your failures. The sprites are tiny (it’s Game Boy, after all), but the writing nails that early Simpsons sarcasm. Just don’t expect it to hold your hand—some solutions are downright sadistic.
If you’ve got a soft spot for janky ‘90s licensed games with surprising depth, this one’s a weird little gem. The rats win sometimes, and that’s okay.
