Konami Sports Game

Man, Konami Sports on Game Boy takes me back. It’s one of those simple, no-frills sports collections where you’ve got tennis, soccer, and track & field crammed into a tiny cartridge. The controls are basic—just a couple of buttons and a D-pad—but somehow, that’s all it needs.
I remember the tennis mode being weirdly satisfying, even though the ball physics are basically "hit it before it disappears." And the track events? Pure button-mashing chaos, especially the 100-meter dash. You’ll either love it or throw your Game Boy across the room.
The music’s got that classic Konami chiptune charm, and the graphics are exactly what you’d expect from an early Game Boy title—blocky, a little janky, but full of personality. It’s the kind of game you’d play in short bursts, either alone or with a friend if you had a link cable (which, let’s be honest, nobody did).
If you’re into retro sports games, this one’s a solid time capsule from when handheld gaming was just figuring things out.
