Konami Collection Vol.4 (japan) Game

Konami GB Collection Vol.4 is a nostalgia trip for Game Boy fans—especially if you're into the Japan-only releases. It bundles a handful of classic Konami titles, and while the selection isn’t as flashy as some of their console hits, there’s something charming about these portable versions. You’ve got stuff like Gradius: The Interstellar Assault, which somehow still feels intense on that tiny screen, and Parodius, because who doesn’t want to dodge bullets as a flying penguin?
It’s not all shooters, though. There’s a weird mix in here, like Motorcross Maniacs, where you’re flipping dirt bikes in pixelated glory. The controls take a second to adjust to—this is peak Game Boy era, so expect some jank—but once it clicks, it’s weirdly satisfying. The emulation’s solid if you’re playing on modern devices, though I’d recommend tweaking the screen filters to soften that old-school pixel crunch.
Definitely more of a niche pick, but if you’ve got a soft spot for Konami’s 8-bit experiments, this one’s a fun little time capsule.
