Konami GB Collection Vol.1 is a little nostalgia bomb for Game Boy fans—especially if you grew up with these classics. It bundles together some of Konami’s best (and weirdest) portable titles from back in the day. You’ve got stuff like Gradius, where dodging bullet-hell patterns on that tiny screen feels way more intense than it should, and Castlevania: The Adventure, which… okay, it’s not the best Castlevania, but the chunky pixel art and moody music still hit.

There’s also Contra, which is just as punishing as you remember, and Yie Ar Kung-Fu, a fighting game that’s janky in that charming early-GB way. The collection’s all in Japanese, but most of these games don’t need much translation—just muscle memory and patience. Emulator-friendly, so you can relive the frustration (and occasional triumph) on whatever device you’ve got handy. If you’re into retro stuff, this is a solid time capsule.
