Knight Rider on NES is one of those weird licensed games that barely resembles the show—unless you count the pixelated KITT doing donuts in a parking lot as faithful adaptation. You mostly just drive through these blocky city streets, shooting at random enemy cars that pop up. The controls are stiff, and the whole thing feels like a budget arcade racer with a Knight Rider skin slapped on.
Honestly, the best part is the music—it’s got that classic 8-bit synth energy, even if the gameplay doesn’t quite live up to it. If you’re a hardcore fan of the show, you might get a kick out of seeing Michael Knight’s tiny sprite, but otherwise, it’s more of a curiosity than a must-play. Stick with the Turbo Boost button and pray the hit detection doesn’t screw you over.
