About Knight Rider (japan)
Knight Rider for the NES came out in 1989, published by Acclaim Entertainment. It was one of many games from that period trying to capture the feel of a popular TV show on the console.
You control Michael Knight and his car, KITT, from a top-down perspective. The main goal is to drive through various locations, completing missions by finding specific items or stopping enemy vehicles. You switch between driving KITT and getting out on foot to explore buildings screen by screen. Combat involves shooting enemies with KITT's weapons or your own gun when outside the car. The game moves at a deliberate pace, and the difficulty comes from navigating the maze-like areas and dealing with enemies that respawn. Playing it feels like a slow, methodical hunt through a blocky world.
