About Knight Rider
Knight Rider on the NES came out in 1989 from Pack-In-Video. It was one of many games trying to bring a popular TV show to the console, and it fit right in with the action titles of that time.
You control Michael Knight, driving the talking car KITT through a series of missions. Your main goal is to stop a criminal organization by navigating city streets and open areas screen by screen. You use KITT's turbo boost to jump over obstacles and its mounted lasers to shoot enemy vehicles. The game is split between driving sections and occasional on-foot segments where you explore buildings. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can be unforgiving with instant crashes and aggressive enemies. Driving KITT feels responsive, but navigating the tight layouts requires precise control.
