Knife Edge - Nose Gunner is one of those N64 shooters that doesn’t mess around—you’re strapped into a fighter jet, guns blazing, and the game just throws enemies at you like it’s personal. The first level throws you right into the action: dodging missiles, shredding enemy planes, and trying not to crash into the scenery while you’re at it.
It’s an on-rails shooter, so no fancy flying—just pure, chaotic aiming and shooting. The bosses are ridiculous in the best way, like some anime villain’s overdesigned death machine. And yeah, the sound design? Those explosions actually rattle your ears a little, which is weirdly satisfying.
If you’re into arcade-style shooters where reflexes matter more than story, this one’s a solid pick. Just don’t expect to relax while playing it.
