Klax (unl) Game

Klax is one of those deceptively simple puzzle games that hooks you fast. You're standing at the bottom of the screen, catching colored tiles as they slide down a conveyor belt—your job is to line up three or more of the same color in rows, diagonals, or columns to clear them. Sounds easy, right? Then the speed picks up, and suddenly you're frantically juggling tiles, trying not to let anything drop off the edge.
The NES version keeps the arcade feel but adds some nice little tweaks, like the way tiles clatter when they land. I always liked how the game doesn't punish you too hard for mistakes—you can recover if you stay sharp. The music's got that classic late '80s synth vibe, too, which somehow makes stacking tiles feel way more intense than it should.
It's the kind of game where you tell yourself "just one more round" and suddenly an hour's gone by.
