King of the Zoo on Game Boy lets you do exactly that—pick an animal (lion, cheetah, elephant, etc.) and throw down in a no-holds-barred zoo brawl. The controls are simple—charge, swipe, dodge—but figuring out how each animal moves takes a minute. Elephants hit like trucks but turn slower than a sleeping sloth, while cheetahs dart around but crumple if a rhino sneezes on them.

It’s got that classic Game Boy charm—chunky sprites, crunchy sound effects, and just enough chaos to make every match feel unpredictable. I lost my first three rounds as a giraffe (terrible choice, by the way) before switching to the gorilla and finally understanding the hype. There’s something weirdly satisfying about body-slamming a crocodile into a pile of hay.
