King Of The Zoo Game

Ever wanted to maul your way to the top of the food chain? King of the Zoo on Game Boy lets you do exactly that—pick an animal (lion, cheetah, elephant, etc.) and throw down in a no-holds-barred zoo brawl. The controls are simple—charge, swipe, dodge—but figuring out how each animal moves takes a minute. Elephants hit like trucks but turn slower than a sleeping sloth, while cheetahs dart around but crumple if a rhino sneezes on them.
It’s got that classic Game Boy charm—chunky sprites, crunchy sound effects, and just enough chaos to make every match feel unpredictable. I lost my first three rounds as a giraffe (terrible choice, by the way) before switching to the gorilla and finally understanding the hype. There’s something weirdly satisfying about body-slamming a crocodile into a pile of hay.
If you’ve got a soft spot for old-school handheld brawlers, this one’s a riot with a friend. Just don’t blame me when you start growling at your Game Boy screen.
