Okay, so "King James Bible" on Game Boy is... exactly what it sounds like. You boot it up, and bam—pixelated scripture. It’s less of a "game" and more like flipping through a digital Bible with some very basic trivia quizzes thrown in. The graphics are pure late-’90s handheld charm, though, right down to the blocky text and occasional illustrations of Noah’s Ark or David vs. Goliath.
Honestly, I expected something weirder—like a side-scroller where you play as Moses parting the Red Sea or Samson smiting Philistines with his hair powers. Nope. It’s mostly reading verses, with a few multiple-choice questions to test your knowledge. Perfect if you’re nostalgic for that era when companies would slap anything onto a Game Boy cartridge just to see what stuck.
Still, there’s something oddly charming about its simplicity. You won’t find anything else quite like it in your collection.
