Kid Dracula on Game Boy is this weird little gem—it's technically a Castlevania spin-off, but instead of brooding vampires and gothic castles, you get this tiny, cartoony Dracula kid blasting magic at goofy monsters. The whole thing feels like someone took the usual dark vibe and ran it through a Saturday morning cartoon filter.
You jump around, shoot fireballs (because of course kid Dracula throws fireballs), and fight bosses that look like they escaped from a toy box. It's way more forgiving than regular Castlevania, but still has that classic platforming feel. The chibi art style is oddly charming, especially on the Game Boy's tiny screen.
If you're into retro platformers with a silly twist, this one's a fun detour from the usual vampire-slaying business.
