You control Kickle, a little fellow who can shoot ice from his hands to create temporary blocks. Your goal is to collect all the dream bags in each single screen stage and then reach the exit. The main mechanics involve freezing enemies into blocks you can push around; these frozen enemies become part of the landscape, letting you build bridges or create stairs. You also use these ice blocks to crush other enemies or to trap them. The game starts gently but the puzzles get quite devious, demanding you plan your path and block placements carefully. It feels satisfying to finally see the solution and clean up a messy screen.
