About Kick Master
Kick Master came out in 1992 for the Nintendo Entertainment System, developed by KID. It was a late release for the NES, a time when developers were still finding new ways to use the hardware for action games.
You control a martial artist named Ty, who must rescue a princess from a demon. The main goal is to fight through side scrolling stages, defeating monsters and bosses. Your primary weapon is a variety of kick techniques, which you learn and upgrade by finding special orbs. The game is structured screen by screen; you clear all enemies in an area before you can proceed. It is known for its high difficulty, requiring precise timing to land your kicks and avoid damage.
