Kerokero Keroppis Big Adventure Game

KeroKero Keroppis Big Adventure is one of those weird, charming NES platformers that feels like it fell out of a time capsule. You play as this little frog dude hopping through bright, slightly janky levels—some of the jumps are just a pixel too precise, but that’s part of the retro charm. The music’s got that classic chiptune bounce, and the enemies are these goofy-looking bugs and blobs that explode in a puff of pixels when you stomp them.
At first, I thought it was just another basic platformer, but there’s this weirdly satisfying rhythm to it once you get the hang of the floaty jumps. And the later levels? They get sneaky with hidden warp zones and power-ups tucked behind fake walls. Not gonna lie, I got stuck on the ice stage for way too long before realizing you could slide-kick the penguins.
If you’re into obscure NES games with personality, this one’s a fun little rabbit hole—er, frog hole.
