Kattobi Road is one of those weird little Game Boy gems that makes you go, "Wait, why isn’t this more famous?" At first glance, it’s just a racing game, but then you realize you’re not just driving—you’re launching your car off ramps, flipping midair, and trying to land without exploding. The physics are janky in the best way, like your car has a mind of its own.
You pick from these oddly charming vehicles (my favorite’s the pizza delivery scooter, because of course), and then it’s just chaos from there. The tracks are full of ridiculous jumps and shortcuts, and half the fun is seeing how badly you can botch a landing and still keep going. It’s got that early ‘90s arcade vibe where everything’s bright, loud, and slightly unhinged.
If you’re into retro games that don’t take themselves seriously, this one’s a blast. Just don’t expect realism—your car handles like it’s made of rubber and dreams.
