Kamen Rider SD - Hashire! Mighty Riders is one of those weird little Game Boy gems that never left Japan, but man, it’s a blast if you’re into chibi-style action. You pick from a bunch of tiny Kamen Riders—each with their own goofy super moves—and dash through short, fast-paced stages smacking enemies into next week. The sprites are adorable, and the controls are simple, but some of the later stages actually get pretty tough.
First time I played, I went straight for Rider 1 because, well, classic choice. Turns out his spinning kick clears crowds way better than I expected. The music’s got that classic Game Boy bleep-bloop charm too—catchy in a way that sticks in your head after you turn it off.
It’s not deep, but it’s the kind of game you boot up when you just want to plow through something fun in 20 minutes. Definitely a hidden pick for retro fans who dig quirky action games.
