Kaijuu Ou Godzilla on Game Boy is exactly what it sounds like—you stomp around as the big G himself, smashing cities and battling other monsters. The sprites are tiny but surprisingly detailed for a Game Boy game, and there's something weirdly satisfying about watching pixelated buildings crumble under your tail swipes.
At first, the controls feel a little stiff (it is a Game Boy game), but once you get used to it, you start pulling off atomic breath attacks and dropkicks like a pro. The fights against other kaiju are the highlight—Mothra shows up, and let's just say she's way more annoying in 8-bit form.
It's not deep, but if you ever wanted to wreck Tokyo in under five minutes, this does the job. Just don't expect a masterpiece—it's pure, dumb monster fun.
