Jida Igeki Game

Jida Igeki is one of those weird little Game Boy games that somehow sticks with you. At first glance, it's just another pixelated action game—you slash through enemies, jump between platforms, the usual stuff. But there's something about the way the combat feels that makes it stand out. Your sword swings have this satisfying weight to them, and the enemies don’t just fall over—you actually have to time your hits.
The levels are short but brutal, and I swear the third stage boss took me like a dozen tries to beat. The music’s got that classic Game Boy chiptune grit, too—simple but weirdly catchy. It’s not some forgotten masterpiece, but if you’re into retro action games that don’t hold your hand, this one’s worth a few hours of your time.
Just don’t expect a story. You’re a samurai, things are trying to kill you, and that’s about it.
