Okay, so in Jetsons: Robot Panic, all the household robots in Orbit City have gone completely haywire—like, toasters attacking people, vacuum cleaners gone rogue, the whole deal. You play as George Jetson (and sometimes the rest of the family), running through these side-scrolling levels trying to avoid or zap the malfunctioning bots with his laser gun. It’s got that classic cartoon vibe, but the controls are a little stiff, like most Game Boy platformers from back then.
First level throws you right into it—you’re dodging flying appliances while Jane yells at you from the background. The music’s upbeat in that 8-bit way, but after a while, you start noticing how some of the robots respawn if you backtrack, which gets annoying. Still, there’s something weirdly charming about blasting a rogue blender before it charges at you. If you grew up with the show, it’s a fun little nostalgia trip, even if it’s not the smoothest game out there.
