I remember picking up Jetsons for the Game Boy back in 1992. It was developed by Natsume, a company known for a few other solid titles on the system. At the time, a lot of games were based on cartoons, and this one fit right into that trend without trying to be anything more than a straightforward adaptation.

You control George Jetson, moving through the Spacely Space Sprockets building screen by screen. The main goal is to rescue your family, who are scattered somewhere in the complex. You use a laser gun to fend off robots and other mechanical pests, and you collect tools and keycards to unlock new areas. The game is a platformer, so you do a lot of jumping between conveyor belts and elevators while avoiding hazards. It can be surprisingly difficult; the controls feel a bit stiff, and some jumps require precise timing. Playing it feels like a methodical, sometimes frustrating, trek through a maze of industrial platforms.
