I remember picking up Jetsons Cogswell's Caper back in 1992, a late release for the Nintendo Entertainment System from Hudson Soft. It arrived when many players were already moving to 16-bit consoles, so it felt like one of those final NES adventures. The game puts you in the shoes of George Jetson, trying to stop Mr. Cogswell from destroying Planet M38.
You control George through side scrolling levels, jumping between platforms and avoiding enemies like Cogswell's robots. Your main goal is to progress through each stage, eventually confronting Cogswell himself. Key mechanics include using anti gravity boots for higher jumps, a glider to cross wide gaps, and a jet board for faster travel over certain surfaces. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty can be unforgiving with precise timing needed for some obstacles.
