Jet Force Gemini’s demo drops you right into the chaos—you’re part of a spacefaring trio blasting through alien bugs with some seriously satisfying guns. The controls take a second to get used to (this is an N64 shooter, after all), but once you’re strafing and unloading plasma shots into hordes of creepy-crawlies, it clicks. The colors pop, the explosions are chunky, and that weirdly catchy tribal-techno soundtrack sticks in your head.
You only get a slice of the full game here, but it’s enough to show off the weird mix of run-and-gun action and… rescuing tiny bear creatures? Yeah, it’s bizarre, but that’s part of the charm. If you dig old-school shooters with janky personality, this demo’s a solid time capsule.
