Jesus - Kyoufu No Bio Monster Game

Okay, so this is one of those weird, obscure NES games that somehow slipped through the cracks—probably for good reason. You play as Jesus (yes, that Jesus) fighting bio-monsters in what feels like a fever dream mashup of horror and religious themes. The controls are janky, the sprites look like they were drawn in five minutes, and the whole thing has this bizarre, almost surreal vibe.
At first, you’re just walking around whipping enemies with what I assume is a holy lash, but then things take a turn when you realize some of these creatures are… unsettlingly fleshy. It’s not exactly scary, just deeply odd. The music doesn’t help—it’s this repetitive, slightly off-key chiptune that loops forever. I kept playing just to see how much weirder it could get, and honestly, it delivered.
If you’re into obscure, borderline nonsensical retro games, this might be worth a laugh with friends. Otherwise, it’s more of a curiosity than anything else.
