Jeep Jamboree Game

Jeep Jamboree is one of those old-school Game Boy games that somehow makes driving a pixelated Jeep over blocky terrain weirdly satisfying. You start off bouncing over rocks and dodging pits—nothing too crazy at first, but then the hills get steeper, the gaps wider, and suddenly you're white-knuckling it trying not to flip over.
The controls are simple (just gas and steering), but timing your jumps and keeping your speed in check actually takes some finesse. I remember thinking it'd be a breeze until I faceplanted into a ravine three times in a row. The chunky little Jeep sprite has this weird charm, though—like it's determined to keep going no matter how many times you roll it.
It's definitely a product of its time, but there's something oddly relaxing about grinding through the later stages, memorizing the bumps and drops. Just don't expect modern physics—this thing handles more like a brick with wheels. Still, if you're into retro challenge, it's a solid way to kill half an hour.
