Janshirou 2 Game

Janshirou 2 on Game Boy is one of those games that feels like it was made for late-night sessions under the blankets with a dim flashlight. The pixel art has that rough-but-charming look, and the music—those crunchy little chiptunes—somehow makes every fight feel like a big deal.
You start off with just a basic sword and a jump button, but within minutes you're already dodging traps, figuring out which enemies take two hits instead of one, and getting that satisfying "click" when a puzzle finally makes sense. The controls are tight, though I won’t lie—some of the platforming bits had me muttering at the screen. (Worth it when you nail it, though.)
If you’ve got a soft spot for games that don’t hold your hand but still feel fair, this one’s a solid pick. Just don’t blame me when you lose track of time.
