Jankenman is one of those weird little Game Boy gems that makes you go, "Wait, they made a whole game about rock-paper-scissors?" At first glance it seems silly, but there's actually some strategy once you get into it—you're not just mashing buttons, you're trying to read patterns and counter the AI's moves.
The pixel art has that classic early 90s charm, with these exaggerated character reactions when someone wins a round. I lost way too much time trying to beat the higher difficulty opponents, and yeah, I may have yelled at my Game Boy a few times when the computer pulled off some ridiculous streak of perfect counters.
If you're into quirky retro stuff or just want a quick nostalgia trip, this one's surprisingly addictive once it gets its hooks in you.
