Alright, so this is the Game Boy version of James Bond 007, and honestly? It’s way more fun than I expected for a tiny cartridge. You start off in some dimly lit alley—classic Bond stuff—sneaking past guards, picking up gadgets, and occasionally just punching dudes when stealth fails (which, let’s be real, happens a lot).
The missions jump between shootouts, driving sections, and actual spy work like cracking safes or tailing suspects. The controls take a minute to get used to—this is an old Game Boy game—but once you do, it’s weirdly satisfying to outmaneuver enemies with just two buttons and a D-pad. Also, the soundtrack? Surprisingly tense for 8-bit bleeps.
It’s not perfect—some sections drag, and the AI can be janky—but if you’re into retro spy games, this one’s a solid time capsule. Just don’t expect GoldenEye levels of polish.
