Jack Nicklaus Golf on Game Boy is one of those early golf sims that somehow makes tiny pixelated fairways feel legit. You pick your clubs, adjust for wind (good luck judging that on a monochrome screen), and try not to overshoot the green—which happens way more than you'd think. The controls are simple, just A for power and B for accuracy, but nailing a long putt with that chiptune "clink" is weirdly satisfying.
It’s got Jack’s name slapped on it, but honestly, the real star is how they crammed a full 18 holes into a cartridge this small. Some courses are brutal with narrow fairways, and the pixelated water hazards will ruin your scorecard fast. If you’re into retro sports games, this one’s a solid round—just don’t expect PGA Tour visuals.
