Incredible Crash Dummies on NES is one of those weirdly charming licensed games from the '90s where you play as Slick, a crash dummy trying to save Dr. Zub from the evil Junkman. The whole gimmick? You literally fall apart when you crash—limbs go flying, your head pops off, and you have to scramble to put yourself back together before the junkbots finish you off.

The levels are a mix of crash test labs, construction sites, and military zones, each packed with hazards that feel like they were designed by someone who really hated crash dummies. The controls are a little stiff (classic NES), but there’s something satisfying about barely making a jump and then immediately exploding into pieces. It’s not the deepest game, but the destruction physics were weirdly ahead of their time.

If you’re into retro platformers with a weird sense of humor, this one’s a fun little time capsule. Just don’t expect to walk away without a few missing limbs.
