Incredible Crash Dummies came out for the NES in 1994, published by LJN. It was part of that wave of games based on toys and other media, a familiar sight on the console at the time. You play as one of the crash test dummies, Slick, on a mission to rescue Dr. Zub from the villain Junkman.

You guide Slick through a series of side scrolling levels, like the Crash Test Center and a Construction Site, jumping across platforms and avoiding hazards. Your main goal is to reach the end of each stage while dealing with Junkman's robotic junkbots. The signature mechanic is how your character reacts to damage; Slick's limbs can pop off from a hard hit, and you have to run over and reattach them before you can lose too many and fall apart completely. You also find and use various tools, like a spanner wrench for close combat. The pacing is fairly quick, and the level design can be unforgiving, demanding precise jumps. It feels like a race against your own body falling to pieces.
