In-Fisherman Bass Hunter 64 is one of those weirdly chill N64 fishing games that somehow makes sitting in a virtual boat kinda fun. You pick your gear—some rods feel way too stiff at first, but you get the hang of it—and then just... cast out into these surprisingly detailed lakes. The water ripples, the fish actually fight, and yeah, you’ll sit there for way too long trying to reel in that one stubborn bass.
It’s got that late ‘90s simulation vibe where everything’s a little janky but weirdly satisfying. Rain kicks in out of nowhere, the day-night cycle actually matters, and the fish behave differently depending on where you drop your line. Not gonna lie, it’s niche, but if you ever wanted to zone out with a fishing rod in pixelated nature, this does the job. Just don’t expect it to replace actual fishing.
