This one's a deep cut—a Japan-exclusive Go game for the Famicom Disk System. If you're into traditional board games, it's basically digital Go with that classic NES aesthetic. The grid looks crisp, and the stones have this satisfying chunky pixel look when you place them.

No fancy tutorials here—just pure Go. You pick your handicap, the AI makes its move, and suddenly you're sweating over whether that corner sacrifice was worth it. The AI isn't brutal, but it'll punish lazy plays. I kept forgetting the disk system's save feature existed and lost a few good matches to impatience.

Definitely niche, but there's something charming about playing an ancient game on 8-bit hardware.
