Iggy’s Reckin’ Balls is one of those weird N64 gems that somehow makes bouncing up a tower feel like a high-stakes race. You pick from these goofy, stretchy characters—each with their own weight and bounce—and then it’s just chaos as you try to out-climb everyone else while dodging spikes, swinging hammers, and whatever else the game throws at you.
The controls take a second to get used to since you’re basically a rubber ball with legs, but once it clicks, the multiplayer is an absolute riot. Nothing beats knocking your friends off-course with a well-timed jump or watching them panic when the screen starts scrolling too fast. It’s got that perfect mix of jank and charm that makes old-school party games so much fun.
Definitely one of those "wait, this actually rules?" kind of N64 deep cuts.
