Ever tried herding cavemen through a prehistoric obstacle course? That’s basically Humans on Game Boy—you’ve got these little pixelated tribespeople who can’t jump for their lives, so you stack them into human ladders, toss them over gaps, and pray they don’t wander into a dinosaur’s mouth. The first few levels trick you into thinking it’s cute, then suddenly you’re sweating over how to get five of them past a T-Rex with only three rocks.
The puzzles start simple (just move a boulder, no big deal) but ramp up fast. By level 10, you’re timing jumps between lava pits while coordinating three separate groups. The music’s got that classic Game Boy charm—chipper but slightly desperate, like it knows you’re about to lose your fifth guy to a pterodactyl. If you dig Lemmings but wish it had more club-wielding chaos, this one’s a weird little time capsule.
Fair warning: your first playthrough will mostly involve yelling “NO, DON’T WALK LEFT—” at your screen.
