Hugo 2 is one of those weird Game Boy sequels that completely ditches what the first game did—no more Crazy Castle-style platforming here. Instead, you're thrown into this odd mix of puzzle-solving and light adventure stuff. You control Hugo, this little troll guy, and you’re mostly pushing blocks, flipping switches, and figuring out how to get past obstacles.
It’s not bad, just… unexpected. The puzzles start simple but get pretty devious later on, especially when you hit the ice levels. And yeah, the graphics are basic even for Game Boy standards, but there’s a weird charm to it. If you dig old-school trial-and-error gameplay, it’s a decent time-waster.
