Hudson Hawk on NES is one of those weird, kinda janky but weirdly charming stealth games where you play as a cat burglar pulling off ridiculous heists. You start by sneaking into an auction house to swipe a statue, but things escalate fast—next thing you know, you're dodging lasers and guards like some over-the-top spy movie.
The controls take a second to get used to (Z and X for jumping and attacking feels a little off at first), but once you get the rhythm down, it’s oddly satisfying to pull off a clean heist without setting off alarms. The difficulty spikes hard though—expect to get caught a lot before figuring out guard patterns.
If you’re into old-school stealth with a side of cheese, this one’s got personality. Just don’t expect it to hold your hand.
