Hollywood Squares on NES is basically the digital version of that classic game show where celebs give ridiculous answers and you have to guess if they're bluffing or telling the truth. You pick a square, some washed-up actor gives an answer about geography or whatever, and then you decide if they're full of it. Get it right, claim the square—get it wrong, and your opponent gets a shot. Simple, but weirdly addicting.

The controls are straightforward (arrows to move, Z/X to confirm), but half the fun is seeing how bad some of these "celebrity" answers are. At first I kept second-guessing myself—like, no way that’s the real capital of France—but after a few rounds, you start spotting the obvious lies. Win three in a row, and you get that sweet, sweet fake money.

If you dig this kind of thing, Magical Drop 3 or Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo might be up your alley—but honestly, nothing beats the sheer absurdity of Hollywood Squares. It’s a weird little time capsule of ‘80s game show cheese.
