Hitori De Dekirumon - Cooking Densetsu (japan) Game

Hitori de Dekirumon - Cooking Densetsu is one of those weird little Game Boy gems that makes you go, "Wait, what?" at first glance. It's a cooking RPG—yes, really—where you play as a chef traveling Japan, taking on food challenges in different towns. The pixel art is charmingly simple, and the recipes are surprisingly detailed for a Game Boy game.
You start off with basic dishes like rice balls, but before long you're juggling ingredients, timing, and even customer moods. Mess up, and you'll get some very unimpressed 8-bit glares. The controls take a minute to get used to (mashing A at the right moment feels oddly intense), but there's something weirdly satisfying about nailing a perfect tempura dish.
It's definitely niche, but if you like quirky sims or old-school Japanese games, this one's a fun little time capsule. Just don't play it hungry.
